Arresting white gold cufflinks with snowflake or star burst centers. The dramatic upsweeping borders are characteristic of the Art Deco period. Created by Carter, Gough & Co. in 14kt gold, circa 1930.
 It is always worthwhile to examine the backs of antique cufflinks. The backs of these cufflinks are well crafted with sturdy brackets and strong cross bars that secure the links on your cuff. The maker's attention to detail can be seen in the nicely finished surfaces.
 The cufflinks were created by Carter, Gough & Company, makers of fine gold and platinum cufflinks during the early decades of the last century. The maker's mark for the firm is an arrowhead surrounding a small "C". The maker's mark is just to the right of the precious metal mark ("14K") on the connecting cross bars.
