Diamond Marquise!

Elegant marquise-shape cufflinks with dramatically engraved centers and undulating, stylized borders. Small diamonds sparkle in box setting with millegrain edges. Crafted in 14kt gold, circa 1925.

The backs of the cufflinks are crafted in 14kt yellow gold polished to a mirror-like finish. (Please excuse the reflections from our camera.) Sturdy barrel brackets and crossbars secure the cufflinks on the cuff.

The cross bars are stamped with a gold purity mark ("14K") and a maker's mark (an "F" inside an banner-shape cartouche). The maker's mark is for L. Fritschze & Company, a maker of fine gold cufflinks during the first half of the last century.
