Engraved Elegance II
Elegant two-tone cufflinks with intricately engraved yellow gold centers surrounded by dramatic white gold borders of alternating scrolls and stylized flower or sunrise motifs.  Crafted in 14kt gold,  circa 1920.

You should always carefully examine the reverse of cufflinks.  Here you can see the sturdy brackets and cross bars that secure these links on the cuff.  The backs are crafted in 14kt yellow gold and polished to a mirror-like finish.  Please excuse the dark reflections from my camera.

The cross bars are stamped "14K" for the purity of the gold.  The unknown maker of these cufflinks has been nicknamed the "Rose Bracket" maker,  in recognition of the small stylized roses which decorate the sides of the brackets.

Measurements:  These 14kt gold cufflinks weigh 5.0 grams and measure just under  5/8" by 1/2".
