Sapphire Elegance!
Bright platinum and gold cufflinks with intricately engraved centers and dramatic scroll borders.  An elegant variation on the night-and-day theme, featuring dark blue cabochon sapphires on one side and sparkling faceted blue sapphires on the other.   Crafted in platinum and 14kt gold,  circa 1920.

The backs of the cufflinks are beautifully crafted in 14kt yellow gold.  The surfaces are polished to a mirror-like finish (please excuse the dark reflections from the camera).  Sturdy cross bars and brackets secure the links on the cuff.

The cross bars are stamped "PLON14K" indicating platinum ("PL") on 14kt gold.
