Anthemion Elegance!
Dramatic anthemions (palmettes) grace the rounded corners of these cufflinks and the borders blossom with stylized water lilies.  The centers are beautifully engraved with a shimmering checkerboard pattern.  An exotic garden or palace courtyard in miniature.  Crafted in 14kt gold,  circa 1920.

The backs of the cufflinks are crafted in 14kt yellow gold polished to a mirror-like finish.  Please excuse the dark reflections from our camera.  The cufflinks are connected with sturdy cross bars anchored in secure strap brackets.

The cross bars display a partially obscured maker's mark (a "T" over an "H") and "14k" for the purity of the gold.
